DIAMOND OIL & FATS PRODUCTS SDN BHD. seeks an PRECISION TURNING MACHINIST EXPERT to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s development • Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision turning machining operation. • In charge of the machine setting for 3 Axis turning machine including part setup, secure workpiece holding, cutting tools preparation, program testing and machined parts qualifying. • Use computer software to write programs, establish sequence of operations, model cutting paths and program precision turning machines accordingly. • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards. • Managing and oversee the precision turning machine programs to ensure implementation of best practices by following the blueprint instruction and safe work procedure throughout the production site. • Regrind cutting tools when needed and operate manual equipment for development of work holding solutions. • Monitor machine conditions, machining parameters, tool performance and machine outcomes. • Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain precision turning machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. • Determine the fixtures, attachments and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications, and mount them to machine prior to beginning cutting • Measure, examines, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specification, using precision instruments such as micrometers. • Study sample parts, blueprints, drawing, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances. • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and Vernier calipers. • Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunction and to determine need for adjustments or repairs. • Maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of machining, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. Requirements The required skills for the position PRECISION TURNING MACHINIST EXPERT are: • Min 5 years’ experience in precision turning machine. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Adhere to safety and quality policies. • Effective problem-solving abilities. • Keep maintenance data and report on daily activities. • Candidate must possess relevant education certification
