Facility Technician

Job Summary: Under guidance and supervision of the Assistant Manager, this position is responsible to performs inspect electrical, refrigeration systems, building facilities maintenance, troubleshoot equipment's, preventive maintenance for MHE. Room temperature setpoints and other temperature control systems to ensure maintain the equipment's. identify discrepancies that could indicate a machinery problem and solve the issues. Job Descriptions: 1. Responsible for warehouse equipment and building daily inspections such as fluorescent lighting, spot lighting, overhead sectional doors, sliding doors, strip curtains, dock leveler, inflatable balloon, and etc. 2. Weekly forklift and reach truck physical checking such pump grease, hydraulic oil level, battery water and condition checking, brake checking and etc. Weekly cold room evaporator air cooler checking and take picture for coils, drain pan and pipe if any ice blocking on coil or blocking drain pipe report to HOD and arrange for water wash cleaning. 3. Monthly conduct building maintenance and checking such lighting, air conditioner, floor, washroom water taps, and etc. 4. Daily Routine job as bonded warehouse room temperature and humidity checking and update in manual record. Report to HOD if any abnormality. 5. Perform on work request from internal requester and arrange troubleshooting and repairing work. Update the complete task and compile in documentation. 6. Monthly conduct HQ and BMJ office air-conditioner basic service such indoor filter cleaning and arrange for outdoor condenser water wash cleaning. 7. Conduct troubleshooting and repairing on forklift & reach trucks 8. Do mechanical and welding work if needs. 9. Update monthly checklist. 10. Checking disinfection machines and hand sanitizer machines to make sure in order and refill chemical if needed. 11. Do support for ASRS crane and conveyer maintenance and service breakdown or monthly service. Knowledge: 1. Basics of electrical circuits, wiring, and schematics. Familiarity with electrical component. 2. Knowledge of refrigeration system handling. 3. Understand function of system and PM. 4. Understanding heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Requirements: 1. Candidate must possess at least SPM or Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in 2.Electrical/ Refrigeration/ Mechanical. 3. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. 4. Knowledge of refrigeration system handling. 5. Basics of electrical circuits, wiring and schematics. 6.Can accept to work at Saturdays.
