Company Name: OPS Technologies Sdn Bhd Position: Purchasing Executive Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for processing and management of Purchase Orders to manufacturers/ suppliers, follow-up on shipments schedules, production schedules, shipments clearance, and inventories control • Escalation of orders with manufacturers/ suppliers to fulfill customers’ requests • Inventory planning and control, expediting and follow-up on orders and shipments clearance, and management to meet customers’ requests (this may include short lead-time orders) • Demand planning, material replenishment planning, monitoring of forecast entered by Sales team- highlight if the forecast vs actual variance is out too much • To monitor warehouse storage space for optimum inventory and maintain minimum stock and at the same time keep stock at safety level • Issue of Purchase Order with correct Shipping/Delivery term and pricing • Follow-up to ensure the best payment term is granted by manufacturers/ suppliers • Checking on orders process and schedules with manufacturers/ suppliers, arrangement of shipment clearance for storage, etc. • Perform Good Receive in SAP and validate supplier invoices • Maintain proper e-filing on all documents (COA, permit, DO, shipping documents, invoices, custom forms etc). • Coordinate import shipments & check customs documents • Maintain high accuracy of SAP system information and ensure all procedures are followed correctly • Any other ad-hoc as assigned by supervisor Job Requirements: • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and handle challenging work demands and tight schedules. • Ability to make timely decisions in a high-pressure environment. • Meticulous, eye for details with pro-activeness and good follow-up skills. • Good verbal and written communication skills and detail oriented.
