Automation Test Engineer

The Software Testers will be part of development team, assess and evaluate applications, programs, and software to ensure they function correctly. Involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment. Conduct tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are removed within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users. Align & work with Automation team to continuously find & automate test cases which are repetitive in nature. Qualification and Education Requirement 1. Hands-on experience with software product test planning, execution, following up on defects. 2. 4+ years working as a Software Tester (software validation, test, and release function). 3. Automation Testing experience using atleast 1 of the industry accepted framework & tool like Playright, Jasmine, Robot, Selenium etc. 4. College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline 5. Strong and demonstrated experience in the use of agile testing methodologies & principle Core Competency Requirements 1. Strong knowledge in preparing test plans, organizing, and conducting testing. 2. Proficient in writing test plans and test cases. 3. Deep understanding of test principles and methods in web applications. 4. Deep understanding of Automation testing & Automation frameworks. 5. Hands-on experience in automating tests using tools like Playright. 6. Experience working in an agile environment. 7. Strong experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and testing areas. 8. Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills to isolate problem/defect areas. 9. Experienced to run Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Retest, and E2E on the Application Under Test. 10. Hands-on experience with one or more of the following is expected: DevOps, Mantis, JIRA, Web browsers testing, Mobile browser and application testing, Reporting application testing. 11. Working experience on Playright tool is preferred. 12. Possessing health care domain knowledge will be an added advantage Roles and responsibilities 1. Provides expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of release tests and work along with testing team members applying business and functional knowledge to meet the team’s overall test objectives. 2. Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment. 3. Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders 4. Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes. 5. Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain business applications. 6. Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans. 7. Responsible for ensuring that the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology are applied as specified in testing approach, and that all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. 8. Performs defect coordination functions, ensuring that test defects are tracked to closure and that the defect repository is kept up to date with the correct status. 9. Participates in the defect coordination function is the creation and distribution of test status metrics as required by the project. 10. Track, manage and report testing issues. 11. Assist Team Lead to plan and manage successful testing cycles for all implementations of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications that are developed. 12. Analyze Business requirements and software specifications to Design & develop Test Scripts. 13. Help testing team to prepare coverage metrics reports to measure code quality. 13. To work closely with the business units to gain in-dept understanding of customer’s business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. 14.
