Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic equipment issues. Ensure all equipment is in good working condition to minimize production downtime. Inspection and Testing: Regularly inspect jigs and fixtures for wear and tear. Test electronic and mechanical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly. Calibrate equipment as required to maintain precision in manufacturing processes. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed. Report any major equipment issues to the supervisor for further action. Document any modifications made to jigs, fixtures, or equipment. Support to Production: Provide technical support to production teams to resolve equipment-related issues. Assist in setting up jigs and fixtures for new production runs. Work closely with engineers to implement equipment upgrades and improvements. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols when handling electronic and mechanical equipment. Ensure that all equipment meets safety standards and regulations. Participate in safety training and drills. Requirements: Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of safety standards and practices in manufacturing. Willing to work overtime when required. Willing to work for night shift if required.
