Surrounded by lush greenery and misty landscapes, our hotel provides a serene retreat for guests while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and operations. What You Will Learn & Contribute To Team Support & Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance Team, including the Head of Accounts and Assistant Head of Accounts, to support daily financial operations. Assist in financial projects and reporting that contribute to the overall success of the department. Gain insights into best practices and internal processes in hotel financial management. Cash Handling & Internal Audits: Assist in daily cash transaction reconciliation across various departments. Support internal audit processes to identify discrepancies in financial records. Learn the procedures for secure and timely banking of hotel revenue. Accounts & Taxation: Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Help with general ledger reconciliation and preparation of financial statements. Gain exposure to tax-related processes, including SST, Tourism Tax, and Cukai Kelestarian in compliance with LHDN regulations. External Audits & Compliance: Support in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Assist in audit preparation and liaise with auditors for financial reviews. Financial Systems & Documentation: Learn to navigate accounting software and financial management tools (experience with IDB Account System is a plus). Assist in the organization and filing of financial records, including invoices, tax documents, and compliance reports. Administrative & Special Projects: Participate in license renewal tracking for financial and operational compliance (e.g., Bomba, JKKP, Cukai Taksiran, Pintu, Tanah). Support other ad hoc finance-related administrative tasks as assigned. What We Are Looking For: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
