The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, building client relationships, and promoting BMS products and solutions. You will work closely with the engineering and project management teams to provide tailored solutions to customers while meeting sales targets and contributing to business growth. KEY REQUIREMENTS • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events. • Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and deadlines effectively. • Strong customer service orientation and solution-focused approach. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the BMS, automation, or construction industry. • Strong knowledge of BMS products, solutions, and market trends is a plus. • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Experience with CRM software is an advantage. • Strong presentation and demonstration skills. JOB SCOPE Sales & Business Development: • Identify and target potential clients in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors for BMS products and services. • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new business and grow existing accounts. • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitors in the BMS market. • Provide BMS product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients. Client Relationship Management: • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners. • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their building management requirements. • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle, from initial inquiry to project completion. Product Knowledge & Consultation: • Maintain a strong understanding of BMS products, systems, and solutions, and stay updated on industry trends and innovations. • Consult with clients on system design, energy management, automation solutions, and integration of building systems. • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet client specifications and budget. Proposal and Quotation Preparation: • Prepare and deliver detailed proposals, quotations, and pricing structures for clients. • Customize proposals based on client needs, providing value propositions and demonstrating how BMS systems will improve building efficiency. • Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure contracts. Sales Reporting: • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software. • Provide regular updates and reports to the Sales Manager on sales progress, client feedback, and market insights. • Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaboration & Coordination: • Work closely with the technical and project management teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to project execution. • Coordinate with the installation and service teams to ensure timely delivery of BMS solutions. • Assist in resolving any post-sale customer issues or concerns. Training & Development: • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques. • Attend industry events, seminars, and exhibitions to network and expand the company’s presence in the BMS sector.
