  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.

  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

Job Overview:

UCSI International School Kuala Lumpur is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science & Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that inspire students to excel in Science and Mathematics. The teacher will support students' learning journey by fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a love for these subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Science and Mathematics lessons in alignment with the school’s curriculum.
  • Develop engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess, monitor, and evaluate student progress through various assessments, assignments, and examinations.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methodologies and educational technology to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
  • Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, supporting their individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, school administrators, and parents to ensure student success.
  • Participate in professional development programs, staff meetings, and school events.
  • Uphold school policies and contribute to extracurricular activities to enhance student engagement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Mathematics, Education, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is an advantage.
  • Teaching certification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Science and Mathematics, preferably in an international school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Cambridge or IGCSE curriculum is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
  • Ability to integrate technology effectively in the classroom.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
