
Data Migration Manager
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Planning & Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive data migration strategy, including timelines, resource
allocation, and risk mitigation plans.
Define data migration scope, identifying data to be migrated and data cleansing requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and capture business requirements
Conduct data profiling and analysis to understand data quality, identify anomalies, and define data
transformation rules.
Develop and maintain data mapping documentation, outlining the source and target data fields.
Establish data quality metrics to ensure data integrity during and after the migration.
Develop a rollback plan in case of migration failures or unforeseen issues.
Execution & Management:
Manage the migration project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Lead and coordinate the data migration team, including technical resources and business analysts.
Oversee extraction, transformation, and loading of data from our CIB platforms to the new platform.
Implement data cleansing and enrichment processes to improve data quality.
Conduct rigorous testing and validation of migrated data and and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Manage communication strategy with stakeholders
Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers as needed.

Support post-migration activities, including data reconciliation and issue resolution.
Monitor the new platform to ensure data integrity and system stability.
Document the data migration process and lessons learned for future migrations.
Provide training and support to end-users on the new platform and data structures.
Collaborate with the IT team to address any post-migration data-related issues.
Risk Management & Compliance:
Identify and assess risks associated with the data migration and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and security policies.
Manage data security throughout the migration process, protecting sensitive customer information.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve the data migration process and implement best practices.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data migration technologies.
Collaboration & Communication:
Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Build strong relationships with business units, IT teams, and vendors.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to discuss migration progress and address any issues.
Managerial (team/group responsibilities)

Organizational (organizational responsibilities)
Work closely with various internal stakeholders e.g.: product managers, customer servicing channels,
operations and IT to provide an integrated channel customer experience & manage website content
updates between assets built on the content management system (training will be provided on how to use
the content management system).

Education/Qualification
Minimum College Diploma or Degree
Experience
Minimum 1 years’ experience in data migration related projects
Minimum 1 years’ experience in finance / banking
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 18 months
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
