
Site Safety Supervisor
Job Description:
1. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, high-rise-specific safety standards, and
local building codes.
2. Conduct hazard assessments specifically for high-rise construction activities such as
crane lifts, concrete pouring, steel erection, and high-level electrical work
3. Be the primary point of contact in the event of a safety incident or emergency,
coordinating emergency responses and assisting in evacuations or first-aid actions.
4. Ensure that all workers and personnel on scaffolds or working at heights are using
the correct fall protection equipment and following safety protocols.
5. Prepare and submit monthly safety reports for project management and regulatory
bodies, highlighting any safety concerns or improvements.
6. Participate in regular safety meetings, providing updates on safety performance and
areas for improvement.
7. Inspect scaffolding, ladders, and elevated platforms regularly to ensure they meet
safety standards and are properly maintained.
8. Conduct toolbox meeting to ensure that workers are familiar with emergency procedures, including high-rise rescue operations and safety measures.
Job Requirements:
1. Possess a Professional Certificate/ Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2- 3 year(s) of overseeing safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment at a construction site.
3. Yellow Book registration with JKKP(DOSH) is mandatory.
4. Familiarity with OSH requirements at construction sites is essential.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills with high proficiency in verbal and written
English.
4. Good work attitude, flexible, able to work independently and willing to take on challenges.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
