Key Responsibilities:
- Attend to customer's enquiries and requests using service reception/dialogue bay with greeting to customers as well for repairs/service and issuing job cards accordingly for proper documentation
- Monitoring progress on the repairs/service and keep customer updated on the status on the repairs of their car
- Provide technical explanation or advice to customers on their vehicles
- Interpreting and relaying customer concerns and feedbacks to the technical team for further diagnosis
- Provide quotations for repair of customer's car and communicate with customers for approval including additional repairs on their cars whenever necessary
- To provide verification on warranty coverage based on vehicle maintenance records
- To place the order with the Parts Department and inform customers upon arrival of parts
- Liaise with Workshop Controller/Manager to ascertain the quality of the job done before contacting customer for the collection
- To conduct follow-up with customers within 3 days of servicing/repair to obtain feedback on the last visit experience and the vehicle condition.
- To deliver the vehicle to customer within the stipulated timeframe and in a clean and tidy manner
- Upsell produces/services approved by the Company as to increase purchase value and overall sales target
- To manage customer concerns and escalate to the manager when necessary.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Degree in Automotive/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Possess strong technical knowledge and customer handling skills
- Preferably working experience with continental brand (Volkswagen, Audi, Volvo, MINI, Mercedes, and etc)
- Familiarity with Chery systems is an added advantage.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Confident, dynamic and highly customer-oriented with a positive attitude
- Able to work under pressure & fast-paced environment
- Computer literate and well versed with Microsoft Office
