Job Summary:
The Company Driver will be responsible for safely driving the company’s management team, specifically the boss or senior staff, between the office in Alor Setar, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur. The role involves providing reliable transportation, maintaining the vehicle, and ensuring punctuality for business-related trips.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation:
  • Safely drive the boss and other senior staff to and from the office in Alor Setar, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur.
  • Ensure timely arrivals and departures for meetings and other business appointments.
  • Provide driving support for any business-related travel, including errands and other logistical tasks.
  • Vehicle Maintenance:
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the company car is in excellent working condition.
  • Report any vehicle issues promptly and coordinate repairs when necessary.
  • Keep the vehicle clean, both inside and outside, and ensure it is stocked with necessary supplies (water, first aid kit, etc.).
  • Navigation & Route Planning:
  • Plan and take the best routes for timely and safe travel.
  • Be aware of road conditions and alternate routes to avoid delays.
  • Travel Assistance:
  • Help with loading and unloading of materials, luggage, or documents as needed.
  • Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers during travel.
  • Compliance:
  • Adhere to all road safety laws and company policies.
  • Ensure the vehicle’s registration, insurance, and all required documentation are up to date.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license (with a clean driving record).
  • Familiarity with routes between Alor Setar, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and care.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Willingness to travel long distances when required.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, flexible hours depending on travel schedule.
  • Occasional overnight stays during long trips.
