Purpose and contribution of job:
Accounts Receivable. To manage and record the money owed to Clarks by its customers for goods or services delivered but not yet paid for in compliance with group company policies, controls, regulations, and service level agreements.
Accountabilities:
Accounts Receivable
- Booking of Incoming Payments: Bank Statement and Remittance advices.
- Handling unapplied cash: Unapplied/unidentified payment investigation & Cash collected at the month end.
- Coordinating query resolution/dispute management: Verbal & Written Communication with client and related departments.
- Receivables management (aging, overdue reports, SOAs, etc)
- Customer data management.
- Monthly closing activities.
- Reading and learning the operating procedures, contributing to the improvement of it, calling out of all unsolved/unclear issues to the Team Leader.
- Country specific knowledge of taxation (VAT and CIT) & accounting rules applicable particularly for country-to-country transition.
Others
- Create and maintain proper documentations on records keeping.
- To provide varied administrative support to shared service manager. This include but not limited to the production of standard letters, spreadsheet analysis, to name a few.
- Any other ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Essential Knowledge:
- Good command in English.
- Good command in other Asian language such as Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Experienced in a shared service environment for an international company.
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
- Proven record in supporting billings operations and accounts reconciliation for multiple locations in a retailing company.
Technical Skills:
- SAP skills.
- MS Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- MS Outlook.
Experience:
- Min. 2 years of relevant work experience in Finance shared service environment in AR team covering countries in Asia Pacific.
- Min. Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or other relevant equivalent qualification.
- Experience in working closely virtually with others in another location.
- Exposure in the practice of continuous process improvement.
- Proven track record in meeting shared service center’s key performance indicators and metrics.
- Proven track record in performing work assigned with minimum supervision.
- Ability to follow processes and use judgement within defined procedures.
- Ability to navigate within ambiguity environment with high learning agility.
- Strong follow-up skills.
- Highly organized and ability to work within tight timeframes.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
