Job Scope

The Swimming Pool Sales & Operations Manager is responsible for managing and growing the pool service and maintenance business, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role includes sales, marketing, customer relationship management, operational efficiency, and team leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business and maintain existing client relationships.
  • Identify and approach potential clients such as residential, commercial, hotels, and sports facilities.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts for pool services, repairs, and installations.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitors and market trends.

    Operations & Service Management:

    • Oversee the scheduling, planning, and execution of pool cleaning, maintenance, and repair services.
    • Ensure all services are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
    • Work closely with technicians and service teams to optimize work efficiency.
    • Maintain inventory of pool chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
    • Implement and monitor safety procedures and industry best practices.
    • Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve client complaints effectively.

      Customer Relationship Management:

      • Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
      • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly.
      • Provide after-sales support and follow up on service quality.

        Team Leadership & Training:

        • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of pool technicians and support staff.
        • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching to improve productivity.
        • Conduct regular training on safety, customer service, and technical skills.

Job RequirementsEducation & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, operations, or management in the swimming pool industry or a similar field.
  • Proven track record in sales and customer management.
  • Experience managing a team and overseeing operational functions.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Knowledge of pool maintenance, equipment, and chemicals (preferred).
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

      Additional Requirements:

      • Valid driver’s license (if travel is required for sales and site visits).
      • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
