Senior Logistics Executive/Coordinator

The Senior Logistics Executive/Coordinator will oversee and manage the logistics operations of the company, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities 1. Logistics Planning and Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. 2. Supply Chain Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations. 3. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize storage and handling procedures. 4. Transportation Management: Coordinate transportation arrangements, including routing, scheduling, and tracking shipments. 5. Warehouse Management: Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods. 6. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, and identify and mitigate potential risks in logistics operations. 7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and analyse logistics performance metrics, including delivery times, inventory levels, and transportation costs, and provide regular reports to management. 8. Team Management: Supervise and train logistics staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. 9. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in logistics operations and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements 1. Education: Diploma in any field 2. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in a senior role. 3.
