Senior Executive • Coordinate yearly stock-take of inventories and resolve the discrepancies. • Responsible for inventory costing (standard costing), inventory reconciliation and other costing related matters. • Prepare monthly cost analysis report on raw materials, production processes and finished goods. • Assist in setting standard costs for new products. • Monitor and control inventory valuation, ensuring accuracy in stock reporting. • Prepare monthly costing reports for management review. • Perform BOM costing calculation. • Identify and implement improvements in costing procedures and financial controls. • Work closely with procurements, production and finance teams to enhance cost management strategies. • Perform month-end closing activities and ensure data accuracy. • To carry out all other duties as and when assigned by his / her immediate superior. • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed. Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in finance related field, required. • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in product costing, preferably in a manufacturing industry. • Understanding of cost accounting principles, product costing and cost control measures. • Strong background in cost accounting and financial analysis. • Familiarity with inventory and production costing methodologies. • Proficient in Ms Office, including Excel (advanced formulas, pivots tables, etc), Word and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting. • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience in ERP implementation is an added advantage. • Detail-oriented, highly organised and able to work under tight deadlines. • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
