MSF Asia Pacific (APAC) is a formal Partnership (between institutional MSF regions Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and Korea) working towards the development of MSF’s goals for the benefit of MSF operations and patients world-wide.
Responsibilities
This newly created 12-month contract (with potential to extend) will support digital objectives across fundraising, communications and recruitment to optimise our engagement strategies in the Asia Pacific region, with particular focus on Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Reporting to the Digital Manager APAC, you will assist with managing the APAC website (doctorswithoutborders-apac.org), payment gateway, and donation portal; leading projects related to improving user experience and optimising conversion rates; creating impactful digital fundraising, communications and recruitment campaigns; and analysing data and reporting on key metrics.
This is a dynamic position with the opportunity to work across a diverse range of initiatives within a highly collaborative team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will be open to learning, be comfortable taking initiative and enjoy working remotely within a virtual team across the APAC region. You will demonstrate:
- 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: digital platforms/website management, user experience design, digital content management, digital communications/marketing/fundraising, email marketing, and/or data analysis.
- Eagerness to learn new skills, to work effectively in a hybrid virtual team with colleagues around the APAC region, and to contribute to reaching shared team objectives.
- Ability to work autonomously, to take the lead on initiatives and to suggest new ideas and approaches to build engagement with our audiences in the region.
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of the digital landscape in the APAC region.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Other desirable skills include:
- Knowledge of website programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP).
- Experience with Mailchimp, Meta and/or Google Ads platforms.
- Experience with data management and/or digital analytics (e.g. Looker Studio, Power BI).
- Experience with website user experience design and/or Drupal CMS.
