Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytic and Automation Engineer (Product Engineering) to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated solutions that leverage data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and support informed decision-making across the department. This role involves establishing an analytics framework, building automated workflows, creating prototypes, and analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in a high-volume manufacturing (HVM) environment, particularly in FPGA test operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Modeling:

  • Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources to prepare them for analysis.
  • Integrate data from disparate systems to create comprehensive datasets for analysis.
  • Develop data models and algorithms to identify patterns and insights from complex datasets using statistical tools (JMP, Minitab, or equivalent).
  • Create visualizations and reports using analytic tools (Spotfire, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) to provide insights into FPGA test performance.

Automation Development:

  • Design and implement automated workflows using scripting languages (Python, SQL) to streamline repetitive tasks across systems.
  • Integrate data analytics tools with existing applications to create seamless data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks to ensure scalability and maintainability of automated processes.

Collaboration And Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions aligned with business needs.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Sound knowledge in ASIC, SOC and/or FPGA test methodology and manufacturing.
  • Solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, JMP).
  • Proficiency in data analytic tools (Tableau, Power BI, Python libraries) to develop visualizations and data automation.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred) for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts.

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field, with at least 5 years of industry experience, preferably with a product engineering background.
  • Hands-on experience in data analytics and automation development, with the ability to identify opportunities for automation within data-driven processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • High proficiency in applied machine learning modeling, partition analysis, and decision tree analysis is an added advantage.
