Job Title: Inside Sales Support

Employment Status: Full-time

Position Overview

Prepare detailed and complete quotation bid packages compliant with customer requirements and specifications. Cultivate and maintain customer relationships and provide a level of customer service that promotes customer loyalty and repeat business.

Essential Job Functions

• Review customer inquiry documents to determine Neway product selection based on customer requirements and specifications

• Collaborate with engineering and management as needed

• Prepare documentation related to exceptions or deviations

• Prepare detailed and complete quotation bid packages based on customer requirements and specifications within prescribed deadlines

• Review and compare purchase orders for accuracy and completeness against quotation parameters prior to order entry by Distributions Sales Specialist

• Provide written correspondence and oral communication with customers, office staff and HQ factory personnel to obtain information and promote clear understanding of quotation and purchase order requirements

• Manage full-cycle quotation and purchase order communication process, including internal and external customer correspondence, face-to-face meetings, quotation clarification, revisions, issues resolution, etc. to ensure agreement with requirements

• Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, HQ factory and internal personnel to promote confidence in the Neway organization and to deliver a consistent high level of customer service

• Maintain current knowledge of Neway products, procedures and specifications, and keep current with industry developments

Requirements

Education/Experience Requirements:

• HS diploma and 2-3 years inside sales experience, preferably within valve or oil & gas industry, or

• Associate’s degree and 1-2 years inside sales experience, preferably within valve or oil & gas industry, or

• Bachelor’s degree in a sales or business discipline without work experience

• Technical knowledge of 6D valves and service specifications helpful

Other Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines

• Self-management: initiative, organized, dependable, process orientation

• Possess meticulous attention to detail

• Professional polish and above average interpersonal skills

• Courteous customer facing, service-oriented skills

• Strong oral and written communication and time management skills

• Possess the ability to work well independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office software – Excel, Outlook and Word

• Experience with databases (i.e. SAP) and CRM (i.e. SAP/C4C) beneficial
