Investment Intern

Role

You will work with the investment team on including deal sourcing, conducting market research, evaluating startups, and supporting portfolio management activities. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn about the VC industry, and develop your skills in investment analysis and business development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and investment opportunities.
• Assist in sourcing and evaluating startups by analyzing business models, financials, and market potential.
• Attend startup pitches and industry events to build connections and stay updated on market trends.
• Support portfolio management with research, strategy, and operational initiatives.
• Participate in internal meetings and contribute insights to investment discussions.
• Support the team in various initiatives and activities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in any field, preferably Finance, Business, Economics, computer science, or IT-related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft and Google suites.
• Have a passion for business, investment, startup, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

This is a 6-months role that will expose you to different businesses and innovative business models. This is also a great opportunity to develop critical business and investment analysis and strategic decision-making skills.
