Job Responsibilities
What You Do
- Provide support to SAVP, Industrial Relations in relation to disciplinary processes, case investigations, handling grievances, performance and other day-to-day industrial relation matters.
- Assist in the management of poor performers.
- Manage litigation by providing instructions to external counsel in a complete and timely manner.
- Update and prepare IR report to management.
- Prepare documentations to government bodies and authorities e.g. the Labour Department, the Industrial Relations Department, and the Industrial Court.
- Act as Recording Secretary for all Domestic Inquiries.
- Prepare departmental budget and report on accruals of cases. Prepare payment of invoices by external counsel.
Who You Are
- Degree in law, HR or related fields with 3-5 years of IR experience including drafting of letters and communications.
- Experience in investigative work.
- Experience in conducting/managing domestic inquiries.
- Good understanding of Malaysian employment/labour laws.
