Assistant Manager, Corporate Action (Operations)

Key Responsibilities
- Co-lead the Corporate Action (CA) unit, overseeing and monitoring the processing of both foreign and local corporate action events for clients.
- Ensure all corporate action information received from agents and counterparties is accurately entered into the internal CA system.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure CA records match with those of counterparties.
- Act as a Checker for processing CA instructions received from clients, including voluntary corporate action events, proxy meetings, mandatory CA events, and more.
- Monitor refund activities and credit payments to clients related to unsuccessful subscription CA events, ensuring timely payments.
- Verify the accuracy of journal entries before forwarding them to the Finance team.
- Participate in new projects for system enhancements and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Address and resolve system or technical issues through problem-solving and investigations.
- Maintain close communication with agents, counterparties, and custodians regarding CA matters.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
- Preferably 3 to 5 years of related work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
