Job Purpose
Implement and manage accounting functions to ensure proper records, timely submission of accurate financial and management reports, and ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, Statutory reporting and local authorities requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare monthly financial reports timely and to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, Financial Reporting Standards and generally accepted accounting standards
- Prepare monthly reports for management i.e. Sales reports, Aging reports, etc.
- Prepare the quarterly financial statements, consolidation packages, divisional reports, executive summary & other relevant
- Execute and monitor finance (including foreign currency transactions) function to maintain effective financial controls and financial position of the company
- Ensure compliance with direct and indirect
- Assist in preparing annual financial budgets and forecasts, and report on variance analysis
- Prepare audit schedules and engage with internal & external auditors
- Other ad-hoc tasks include liaising with other relevant authorities such as tax agents, statistic department officers, etc.
Qualification(s)
- Degree in Accounting or Professional qualification in Accountancy. Partially qualified degree or professional accounting candidates are encouraged to apply.
- MIA certification will be added advantage
- Minimum 3 years of external audit experience with big public accounting firm
