- Familiar with international Oil and Gas company standards, i.e. SHELL DEP, PETRONAS PTS Guidelines, Statoil guidelines, NORSOK
- Working experience with engineering and design deliverables, i.e. location layout, wiring diagram, loop diagram
- Familiar with Safety Studies requirements, i.e. Fire & Gas Mapping, SIL studies etc.
- Registered as Professional Engineer with BEM / IEM
- Prepare datasheets / specifications for various Instrumentation equipment, i.e. ICSS, WHCP, Transmitters, Flowmeters, Level Instruments, Control valves, Actuator valves, Relief valves, Analysers, Fire and Gas devices etc.
- Prepare Instrument database, Instrument Index, IO list, Alarm list, etc.
- Develop Fire and Gas Cause and Effect diagrams, etc.
- Check Instrument Interconnection drawings, Instrument Loop drawings etc.
- Review the vendor drawings / documents for various Instrumentation equipment.
- Work on various sizing calculation software for orifice plates, flowmeters, control valves, safety valves etc.
- Prepare / Provide Instrumentation inputs to Weight Data Report, and Power / Heat Dissipation Report
- Provide Instrumentation inputs to PDMS model
- Provide Instrumentation Input to project data system management software
- Inter-discipline liaison for input/ output , which includes IDC reviews, gathering information from disciplines and other tasks required to complete the work
