Finance Manager

Job Descriptions: Ensure smooth month end closing, timely payments and accurate reporting Preparation of company’s monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheet Preparation of management accounts with the assistance of finance executives Preparation of annual budget and forecasts Maintenance of key control accounts and intercompany balances Preparation of annual statutory accounts for company and subsidiaries Year end audit preparation and support during financial auditing of all the company accounts Preparation of company's annual tax statutory report Payroll Preparation/Supervision Review monthly reports of all junior team members Ad hoc duties as and when required Back up resource for members of the finance team when absent Team leading responsibility for finance team on all aspects of the accounting function, including the managing and delegation of daily workload, resolution of any issues, provision of training and coaching where necessary What you will need: Proven work experience (at least 5 years) in accounting/ finance function or audit, startup experience is a plus Having furniture industry experience is added advantage Good attention to detail Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and basic accounting knowledge Competency in MS Office and accounting software a plus SST knowledge Self-motivated and a team player Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors Ability to work in a fast paced environment and enjoy working in a public listed company Good organizational and time-management abilities Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or has completed a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
