Role Summary
As a member of the Finance Regional Team, the Account Payable, Southeast Asia to handle across Legrand entities in Southeast Asia. She/He ensures strict compliance with local legislation in regards of statutory reporting. She/He will also ensure completion of Group Reporting in accordance with the Group rules and within defined deadlines.
Role Responsibilities
- Processes invoices to performs three-way matching
- Manages daily workflows resolves discrepancies in collaboration with other departments.
- Manage monthly expenses claims
- Manage weekly or Monthly VAT and Withholding tax report and timely submission
- Manage month-end and year-end closing task.
- Responsible for day to day accounting operations and filling system to ensure documents are traceable in an efficient manner.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Role Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- At least 5 years working experience in related field, knowledge and experience in accounting
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of people in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
- Analytical, resourceful, organised and able to work independently.
- Self-disciplined,highly organized and work well under pressure
- Required Skill(s): MS Word, MS Excel, ERP Accounting System.
