Job Description:
As a Quotation Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing and issuing accurate and competitive quotations based on customer inquiries, supplier prices, and internal policies. You will work closely with the sales, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate pricing for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue quotations in response to customer requests.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and requirements.
- Source pricing from suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive quotes.
- Maintain and update a database of standard pricing and offers.
- Ensure all quotations meet internal compliance standards.
- Follow up with clients regarding quotation status and close sales.
- Assist in negotiating terms and conditions when required.
- Keep track of quotation history for reference and future proposals.
- Provide administrative support to the sales and procurement teams as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quotation Clerk, or similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
