About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our IT infrastructure—from maintaining a legacy ERP system to managing database operations with MSSQL. This is a pivotal role for a dynamic professional who can manage day-to-day operations while setting the stage for future growth.

Responsibilities:

1) ERP & Database Management:

  • Maintain our existing ERP system.
  • Write and execute MSSQL queries for system modifications, maintenance, and data extraction.

2) IT Asset & Support Oversight:

  • Manage the inventory and lifecycle of IT assets.
  • Serve as the point of contact for onboarding/offboarding IT requirements.
  • Serve as the point of contact for general support of IT-related issues faced internally.

3) Operational Excellence:

  • Develop and implement backup procedures, disaster recovery plans, and IT security best practices.
  • Document system configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures.

4) Collaboration & Vendor Management:

  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and drive improvements.
  • Ensure alignment of IT operations with overall business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, with proven expertise in managing MSSQL databases, RDP environments and legacy system support.
  • Strong background in IT asset management, backup/disaster recovery, and system security.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Integrity and a commitment to ethical, honest work practices.
