Lead efforts to assess, optimize, and integrate healthcare applications while ensuring alignment with HL7, FHIR, and other relevant medical data standards. Advise on healthcare IT security best practices, ensuring systems are secure, compliant, and protect patient confidentiality. Review, interpret, and provide guidance on regulatory requirements and medical compliance standards such as HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and others. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies for mitigating IT security risks within healthcare environments. Stay updated on advancements in healthcare technology and compliance standards to provide forward-thinking solutions. Lead client presentations and workshops to communicate complex medical and IT concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of medical compliance and regulations, including HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and other standards that govern healthcare data. Hands-on experience with IT security practices, ensuring that healthcare applications are safe from cybersecurity threats. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and healthcare professionals, translating complex medical and IT terminology. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving healthcare IT processes and systems. Experience in consulting or advisory roles is preferred, especially within healthcare IT or medical compliance.
