Senior Operation & Planning Executive

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Operations & Planning Executive to oversee and optimize retail operations while ensuring effective business planning. This role involves managing daily store operations, analyzing sales performance, strategizing inventory planning, and improving overall operational efficiency to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

• Oversee and coordinate daily retail store operations to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, including sales, foot traffic, and operational efficiency.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Work closely with store managers to address operational challenges and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Conduct store audits and ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and customer service standards.

Planning & Strategy:

• Develop and implement strategic operational plans to optimize retail performance and cost efficiency.
• Analyze sales trends, market demands, and inventory movement to support demand forecasting.
• Collaborate with procurement and merchandising teams to ensure optimal stock levels and product availability.
• Assist in store expansion planning, including site selection, setup, and opening support.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance productivity.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:

• Work closely with supply chain teams to manage stock replenishment and prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Monitor logistics and distribution processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to stores.
• Implement effective stock control measures to reduce shrinkage and wastage.

People & Stakeholder Management:

• Provide guidance and training to store teams on best operational practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including HR, finance, and marketing, to align business strategies.
• Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement and logistics operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in retail operations, planning, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data for strategic decision-making.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP or retail management systems.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to travel and oversee store operations as needed.
