Job responsibilities:
- Talent Development: Identify and analyze talent needs, and collaborate with business units to coordinate professional development, re-skilling, vertical and lateral transitions, succession planning, and talent utilization. Assist in creating tailored development plans.
- HRDC Compliance & Grant Management: Ensure all learning and development programs meet the compliance requirements set by the Malaysia HR Development Corporation (HRDC). Prepare and submit training grant & claims applications to HRDC. Having proper tracking of training reimbursements and stay updated on compliance requirements.
- Performance Management Support: Provide performance management guidance, including assistance with performance evaluations (when needed), necessary training on this matter, setting goals, and offering feedback.
- Company Programs and Initiatives: Collaborate and advise on company-wide programs such as succession planning, recognition and award initiatives, leadership programs, etc.
- Team Building and Engagement: Collaborate with managers to plan and implement team-building events and initiatives that strengthen team culture, morale, collaboration, and engagement. Develop strategies to enhance talent satisfaction and retention and monitor Talent needs through engagement surveys. Performing post-event evaluation; including data entry and analysis and producing reports.
- Engagement and Satisfaction: Collaborate with managers to develop and implement strategies to improve talent engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Operational Support: Provide operational and administrative support to the HR team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Backup Support: Offer backup support to other team members and manager as required, contributing to the overall success of the department.
Job requirement
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
- Minimum 2-years relevant working experience is preferred.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently.
- A good team player in supporting and ensure smooth running of the HR/Admin functions.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn at all times.
- Digital literate with expertise in using MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
