Scope of the role: As a Manager, you will lead strategic media planning initiatives for our clients across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region, operating from our Malaysia office. This pivotal role involves designing, executing, and optimizing digital media campaigns, managing a team of media planners, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver outstanding results. Our team is dedicated to providing creative and innovative digital solutions to clients while ensuring flawless operational delivery. You will also serve as the primary liaison for major clients, fostering strong relationships and being recognized as a valuable member of the account team who adds significant value to the business. The role requires you to: • Develop and implement comprehensive digital media strategies that align with clients' marketing objectives and budgetary constraints across the SEA region. • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their digital needs, and continuously proposing innovative and effective campaign solutions. • Identify the most effective digital media channels, considering the interplay between various platforms such as display, native, social, and performance media within the SEA market. • Lead, mentor, and upskill a team of media planners, providing guidance to support their professional growth. • Work closely with media owners, agency partners, and internal specialist teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and timely delivery of all digital deliverables. • Monitor budgets, manage revisions, coordinate with agencies for timely submissions, and provide up-to-date information for revenue tracking and spending forecasts. • Establish and disseminate effective workflows, processes, and planning frameworks among stakeholders. • Ensure the delivery of high-quality contracted digital services to clients across the SEA region. • Identify and pursue opportunities for out-of-scope offerings and value-added digital services. Required Skills or Attributes: • Minimum of 4+ years in media planning and management, with a proven track record in campaign strategy and execution. • Experienced in digital media planning tools such as Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, DV360, GWI, SimilarWeb, YouGov, etc. • Demonstrated ability to build teams and drive operational excellence among team members and partners. • Strong and confident articulation with excellent communication skills. • A proactive mindset, always seeking new ideas and inspirations to bring fresh perspectives to client work. • Expertise in data interpretation and analysis. • High level of accuracy and meticulousness in all tasks. • Exceptional skills in client servicing and digital media planning, offering innovative and effective solutions. • A deep passion for the media and communications industry, with a desire to drive new business growth in a competitive landscape. • In-depth understanding of the SEA media landscape, including cultural nuances and market dynamics.
