As an Area Manager for Restaurant & Bar, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple restaurant and bar locations within a designated geographical area. Your primary objective will be to ensure that each establishment meets and exceeds company standards for quality, service, and profitability. You will provide leadership, support, and guidance to restaurant managers and their teams to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Operations Management: o Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple outlets in the assigned area. o Ensure consistent product quality, food safety standards, and customer service excellence across all locations. o Monitor inventory management, supply chain, and ordering processes to minimize waste and optimize efficiency. 2. Staff Management & Development: o Lead, motivate, and manage a team of restaurant managers, supervisors, and staff. o Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and ensure continuous training programs to enhance team skills and career development. o Ensure staffing levels meet operational needs and manage labor costs effectively. 3. Financial Management: o Develop and monitor the annual budget for the area, focusing on cost control, revenue generation, and profitability. o Analyse sales data, customer feedback, and financial reports to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. o Ensure effective management of P&L statements, ensuring targets for sales, margins, and profitability are met. 4. Customer Experience & Quality Assurance: o Maintain a strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience by addressing customer concerns, managing complaints, and ensuring satisfaction. o Monitor service standards, cleanliness, and product consistency, performing regular quality checks across all outlets. o Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to drive traffic and increase sales. 5. Compliance & Reporting: o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and local legislation. o Maintain a safe working environment and address any workplace hazards or issues promptly. o Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management on performance, key metrics, and initiatives. 6. Strategic Growth & Expansion: o Identify new business opportunities and work with senior leadership on the expansion and growth of the area. o Help manage the opening of new outlets, ensuring smooth launch and adherence to brand standards. QUALIFICATIONS • Education & Certification o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. • Experience o Minimum of 5 years of experience in the F&B industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing multiple locations. • Skills o Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. o Ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and create operational efficiencies. o Knowledge of food safety regulations and health codes. o Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems, MS Office, and other business tools.
