Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Plans, organizes, and controls the project/ sub-projects with minor complexity (up to project classification class D), risk, impact and reach.
• Manages a medium sized project team with members from multifunctional groups.
• Manages and controls the entire project life-cycle and ensures hand-over to sustaining function.
• Organizes the activities and resources needed for the project to ensure timely release of each milestone.
• Fully responsible for all operational decisions in the project and for the successful achievement of all project targets (time, quality, cost and budget),
• Key communication interface (for project related matters),representing Back End to other Infineon Divisions (e.g. Business lines, Central Functions e.g. Finance, PTI, FE Fabs)
• Forms and leads the project team and assigns responsibilities within project to Project Managers of sub-projects and Project Members.
• Uses IFX project management tools to structure projects, control progress and for reporting and documentation.
• Drives problem solving activities within the project using standard Infineon trouble shooting methodologies, eg 8D, 5 Whys.
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Physics).
• Project Management Professional Certification, preferred.
• Has solid project management knowledge in terms of project initiation, planning and closing including reporting and documentation.
• Good knowledge in semiconductor engineering and operation.
• Able to lead team to solve standard problem (using 8D, Is-Is Not, FMEA).
• Good aptitude for collaboration, people management, negotiation and solution finding.
