Accounts Admin
We are a trading and distribution company in Malaysia for over 28 years and are looking for an Accounts Admin that can handle daily entries and book keeping records. We use SQL accounting software, all necessary training will be provided. We're looking for someone who is interested in handling data entries and someone who is willing to learn on the job for a better career growth and willing to deal with the auditors for cash flow reports, balance sheets and P&L. There are multiple opportunities for advancement and an increment will be provided after the 3 month probation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management : Review and prepare invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing data.
- Account Receivable : Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely client/customer payment.
- Full Set of Accounts : Prepare and maintain the full set of accounts, including account payable, account receivable, general ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliation.
- Monthly Account Closing : Perform monthly accounts closing and provide management account to Higher Management.
- Budget Analysis : Prepare quarterly and yearly forecast budget vs actual analysis report.
- Tax Compliance : Handle withholding tax matters and payment to tax authorities.
- Fixed Assets Management : Handle fixed assets management, ensure fixed assets acquisition, disposal & transferring have been proper recorded and assign with tag numbers to fixed assets.
- Petty Cash & Staff Claims : Manage petty cash account and process staff claims.
- Inventory Management : Carry out monthly stock take and prepare monthly inventory closing balance.
- Any ad-hoc duties when assigned by Management from time to time.
Job Description:
- Responsible for closing of monthly management accounts, includes overseeing the general ledger, account receivables and account payables.
- Handle data entry and responsible for daily accounts recording functions.
- Assist in credit control and collection of customers’ payment.
- Liaison with external parties such as auditor, company secretary, tax agent and bankers.
- Ensure compliance of all local regulations, taxation, audit and statutory reporting in Malaysia.
- Work closely with other departments and provided professional expertise and advise on financial related matters.
The job location is in Mont Kiara and all parking fees will be paid by the Company.
