  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Media Officer to join our legal services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting our legal services through innovative social media strategies and engaging content. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about digital communications, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Content Creation & Management
  • Prepare engaging content and high-quality media graphics for posts.
  • Develop creative skits, photos, or videos in collaboration with firm staff to highlight our legal services.
  • Schedule and publish posts across various social media platforms, ensuring consistency in tone and branding.
  • Audience Engagement & Customer Service
  • Monitor social media channels and respond to general inquiries via posts and direct messages.
  • Escalate specific inquiries to the relevant department when necessary, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Campaign Strategy & Execution
  • Plan, execute, and optimize social media campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement.
  • Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to align social media initiatives with overall business strategies.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversion rates) to inform strategy adjustments.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve content and campaign effectiveness continuously.
  • Brand Monitoring & Market Research
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for engagement and innovation.
  • Maintain an active awareness of online discussions related to legal services and our firm, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Additional Media & Communication Tasks
  • Collaborate with external agencies, influencers, or partners to expand our media presence,
  • Assist with website updates and blog content that supports our social media messaging.
  • Organize and coordinate virtual or live events, webinars, and other promotional activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or media communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) and familiarity with video editing software.
  • Ability to multitask, work under tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • A creative mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with legal industry terminology and services is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,500.00 per month
