Job Title: Video Editor

Work Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (near LRT Ampang Park)

Mode: Fully on-site/office (negotiable)

Join a leading Australian power engineering consultancy renowned for its pioneering integration and engineering excellence. This company specializes in delivering advanced, comprehensive, and specialized engineering solutions across the Power Systems, Telecommunications, and Renewable Energy industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing: Edit engaging videos for various platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube, as well as creating longer-form content like documentaries and testimonials. Ensure all video content aligns with brand messaging and quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop content ideas and ensure alignment with brand messaging. Collaborate with videographers and other team members to gather and organize raw footage.
  • Project Management: Manage video editing timelines and deliver projects on schedule. Assist in the development of scripts, storyboards, and overall creative concepts.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video production and content marketing. Optimize video content for SEO and engagement on different platforms.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure the final product meets the required standards. Implement feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve video content.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in video editing and production. Proven experience as a video editor or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro). Strong knowledge of video equipment, including cameras, drones, gimbals, GoPros, as well as lighting and sound recording equipment and techniques.
  • Creative Skills: Excellent storytelling skills and a creative mindset. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. A portfolio showcasing previous video projects is required.
