  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

About the role

Sunway Medical Centre Velocity' is seeking passionate and experienced Staff Nurses to join our Paediatrics team. As a Staff Nurse (Paediatrics), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nursing care to our young patients and their families. This is a full-time position based in our medical facility in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

  • Administering medications and treatments to Paediatric patients according to physician orders and hospital policies
  • Monitoring patients' conditions and vital signs, and reporting any changes to the medical team
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans for each patient
  • Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
  • Adhering to all hospital safety protocols and infection control procedures
  • Participating in continuous professional development to enhance your nursing skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • A Diploma in Nursing or an equivalent qualification
  • Current registration and valid practising certificate with the Malaysian Nursing Board
  • More than 2 years of experience of Staff Nurse and fresh graduate of Diploma/Bachelor in Nursing are welcome to apply.
  • Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in administering medications, providing wound care, and interpreting patient monitoring data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
  • A compassionate and patient-centred approach to nursing care
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
