We are hiring Supervisor, Business Office to supervise staffs and Business Office operations which include day-to-day management of Business Office Accident and Emergency (A&E) Counter activities.
Business Office A&E Counter activities include review and finalize outpatient bills, ensuring alt charges are captured accordingly before bill finalizing, request initial and top up/final Guarantee Letter from corporate
and insurance, submit refund request of excess deposit to patients to respective person in charge.
Job responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Ensure smooth and professional operations at the Business Office A&E Counter, including staff management and workflow efficiency.
- Customer Service: Maintain high standards of customer service by reducing waiting times and ensuring proper coverage during peak hours.
- Staff Training: Train and orient new staff, conduct on-the-job training, and monitor performance.
- Patient Procedures: Oversee patient registration, admission, discharge, and refund processes, ensuring adherence to policies and protocols.
- Customer Feedback: Review and analyze feedback, implement improvements, and address complaints promptly.
- Cashier Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely submission of cashier closing reports, manage cash handling, and report variances.
- Workforce Management: Develop staff through continuous training, ensure adequate resources, promote teamwork, and recognize high performance.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment and manage document storage.
- Medical Case Follow-Up: Ensure thorough follow-up on medical cases and timely completion of required reports.
- Compliance: Adhere to internal controls, guidelines, and procedures, and conduct regular briefings and meetings.
Qualification & requirement
- Minimum SPM with fair credit in English and Mathematics
- Candidate with Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality/Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience in Business Office related
field with experience in supervise a team
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hospital administration procedures is a plus
