- Support chefs in cooking and plating dishes according to company standards.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of raw materials and ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist in setting up buffet lines and ensuring food is replenished during events.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations in accordance with Halal and ISO standards.
- Pack and organize food items for delivery or catering events.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies and inventory.
- Handle basic kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
- Physically fit to handle kitchen duties, including standing for long hours and carrying heavy loads.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus.
