Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts across Asia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive sales growth while inspiring others. You will synthesize market opportunities across your region and build strategic alliances at the highest level to support our growth. Strategy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the skills and vocational market opportunities across your region.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Lead the development of the regional strategy and develop ambitious long-range plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies across your teams and markets to achieve regional sales targets.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive engagement and growth.

Commercial

  • Deliver accurate forecasts of pipeline and timely financial forecasts, with commercial performance reporting across your team.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with key stakeholders.

Leadership

  • Deliver a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Lead your regional teams, providing guidance, training, and support, and driving performance aligned with the values of Pearson.
  • Set sales goals and objectives, and monitor progress across your team.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in the education or vocational training industry.
  • Proven experience as a successful Sales Director or similar role.
  • Exceptional commercial skills
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
