Job Description
- Account Management Support: Assist in managing relationships with key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams to drive business outcomes.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the Senior Commercial Manager and other team members to achieve sales targets, focusing on maximizing account growth and profitability.
- Client Interaction: Serve as a primary contact for clients, handling day-to-day communications, addressing inquiries, and providing timely responses to client needs.
- Account Planning and Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of account plans, including sales forecasts, needs assessments, and strategies to foster account growth and enhance client satisfaction.
- Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product portfolio, ensuring the ability to clearly articulate product benefits and value propositions to clients.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Assist in collecting and analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform account strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular reports detailing account performance, client feedback, and key metrics. Provide insights and actionable recommendations for improving account strategies and operational processes.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of account strategies and client deliverables.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM systems, tracking all client interactions, account activities, and sales progress to ensure consistent and efficient account management.
- Database Management: Manage and update databases for clients, prospects, partners, and vendors to ensure a centralized, organized system of information for the sales team.
- Other Ad-Hoc Duties: Assist with additional tasks and special projects as assigned by the Senior Commercial Manager or other senior leaders.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer service, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical market and product knowledge.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI and CRM software.
- Problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset
