Job Purpose
Purchaser and Administration
As an essential member of our team, the role of the Purchaser and Administration professional encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the seamless procurement of goods and services vital to our operations. This position necessitates the strategic sourcing of suppliers, negotiation of contracts, and management of inventory levels, all while maintaining a vigilant focus on budget compliance and cost efficiency.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities
- · Research and compare suppliers, goods, and services, including negotiation.
- · Select reliable, quality suppliers that are cost-efficient.
- · Update relevant parties on price increases affecting production/operation costs for the Daily Market List (DML).
- · Regularly update DML prices and check on high-consumption stored items.
- · Inform the Department Head of new market products, discontinuations, shortages, and cost-saving substitutes.
- · Plan and arrange timely deliveries of orders.
- · Order for all outlets based on DML.
- · Follow up on undelivered items.
- · Prepare Purchase Orders for store items, DML, direct issues, and repairs.
- · Email Purchase Orders to vendors and coordinate delivery.
- · Scan and file Tender documents, Purchase Orders, and Requisitions.
- · Source and register potential new vendors with Online Vendor Registration (OVR).
- · Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate for the best prices.
- · Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
- · Assist in the tender process from invitation to award for DML items every three months or as required.

· SPM or a Diploma in a business-related field or an equivalent qualification.
Professional Experience
· 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience within the Property Development industry.
