Senior QA Analyst

Principal Accountabilities:

• Debug moderately complex software products through systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
• Execute software test plans and recommend modifications.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and software modification.
• Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective actions.
• Consult with development engineers to resolve problems.
• Provide feedback in the preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
• Ensure quality computer integration into scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions.
  

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Three to five years of related experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
  

Knowledge & Application:

• Understands and applies principles and practices in a recognized professional field.
• Likely to be newly professionally qualified or have extensive experience in a complex technical area.
• Determines courses of action based on guidelines and modifies processes as required.
• Requires knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures.
