Principal Accountabilities:
- Debug moderately complex software products through systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
- Execute software test plans and recommend modifications.
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and software modification.
- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective actions.
- Consult with development engineers to resolve problems.
- Provide feedback in the preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
- Ensure quality computer integration into scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Three to five years of related experience preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
