About the role
- Anchor and manage the safety management system for the entire contract site
- Conduct routine safety audit / inspections/ CWalk
- Carry out and encourage hazard reporting
- Organize safety education program such as training, talks, and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the persons employed on the site to establish a safe and healthy working environment
- Report and Investigate any incidents or accidents that take place within the site and recommend corrective action needed to be taken to prevent recurrence
- Document all safety violations or unsafe conditions/activities; ensures corrective measures are immediately implemented; follows through to ensure corrections have been made
- Stay abreast of current and emerging technical and professional aspects of this position
- Manage and control PTW System
- Work closely with the HQ Safety team
About you
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (RWSHO)
- At least 3’ relevant experience in a HSE role
- Well versed in HSE regulations and practices
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to a changing business environment
- Recognised Diploma or above from a recognised tertiary establishment
