  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

We are seeking a Shopify Web Developer to join our innovative team! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and customizing Shopify stores, building Shopify apps, and integrating third-party services. This role is critical to enhancing our clients' e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless performance, and delivering optimal user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shopify Development: Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver visually appealing and high-performing e-commerce websites.
  • App Development: Develop custom Shopify apps or extend existing apps to meet business needs using Shopify's APIs.
  • API Integration: Integrate third-party services and APIs into Shopify, including payment gateways, CRM systems, and marketing tools.
  • Store Customization: Customize existing Shopify stores to meet design, functionality, and performance requirements.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix issues with Shopify stores, themes, apps, and integrations.
  • Optimization: Optimize Shopify stores for speed, scalability, and SEO to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with design, marketing, and sales teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing support and updates to existing Shopify stores as needed.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure that Shopify stores adhere to security best practices and Shopify guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in Shopify development.
  • Proven track record of delivering custom Shopify stores and apps.
  • Strong knowledge of Liquid templating, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Shopify’s ecosystem, including Liquid, Polaris, and Slate.
  • Familiarity with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with version control (Git).
  • Understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and web performance optimization.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to debug and solve technical issues efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred, but not required).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Shopify App Store and publishing apps.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with Shopify analytics, Google Analytics, or other tracking tools.
