Job Description

Sales Strategy and Planning

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.

• Set short-term and long-term sales targets aligned with the company's business objectives.

• Ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company goals.

Team Management

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales managers and executives.

• Set performance targets and regularly review team performance.

• Identify training needs and implement development programs to enhance the team's skills and productivity.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.

Business Development and Key Account Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, and partners.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence.

• Negotiate and close high-value contracts with dealers and fleet customers.

• Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and after-sales service.

Financial Management

• Develop and manage the sales department budget.

• Monitor sales performance, revenue, and profitability metrics.

• Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management.

• Implement cost-effective sales initiatives to maximize profitability.

Market Research and Product Development

• Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure the company offers competitive products that meet customer needs.

• Provide insights on customer feedback and market demands to guide product improvements.

• Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)

• 12+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth

• Familiarity with automotive dealer networks and fleet sales

• Understanding of regulatory requirements in the automotive industry
