Job Purpose: The General Manager of Strategic Planning plays a pivotal role in driving business growth, expanding revenue streams, and optimizing operational efficiencies to ensure MARALiner remains competitive and financially sustainable. This position focuses on exploring new business ventures, forging strategic partnerships, and enhancing existing services (express bus, stage bus, and related businesses) to maximize profitability and reduce costs. The GM will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership to position MARALiner as an innovative and forward-thinking industry leader. Key Role Objectives: 1. Identify and pursue high-impact business opportunities and strategic alliances. 2. Conduct in-depth feasibility studies and market analyses to drive informed decision-making. 3. Develop and execute innovative revenue growth strategies for existing services. 4. Optimize fare structures, pricing models, and customer engagement strategies to boost sales. 5. Strengthen public-private partnerships and leverage government collaboration for expansion. 6. Enhance cost efficiency through streamlined operations and strategic cost management. 7. Drive digital transformation to improve fleet utilization, service quality, and profitability. 8. Establish robust performance metrics to track revenue growth and cost-saving effectiveness. 9. Provide strong leadership and mentorship to teams in Strategic Planning, Marketing, QA, and IT. 10. Offer strategic counsel and insights to the CEO and Board to guide company growth. Job Requirements: Education: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Strategy, or a related field. - A Master’s degree or certification in Strategic Management is preferred. Experience: - Minimum of 10 years in strategic planning, business development, or corporate growth roles, with leadership experience. - Proven track record in business expansion, revenue growth, and new venture exploration. - Strong experience in negotiating and securing high-level commercial partnerships. Skills and Competencies: - Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of revenue generation, business development, and strategic ventures. - Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, with expertise in market research and business intelligence. - Excellent negotiation & stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to engage investors, government agencies, and key partners. - Proficiency in monetization strategies, cost optimization, and commercial structuring. - Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and drive cross-functional teams toward strategic objectives.
