Your new role
Your responsibilities as a Business Development Manager include:
- Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and product development initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to interpret construction drawings and ensure product specifications meet customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, contractors, and retailers in the electronics market.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase product features and benefits to potential clients and partners.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to inform strategic decisions and enhance competitive positioning.
What you'll need to succeed
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the electronics, or civil engineering space
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field is a must
• Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent communication skills
• Ability to negotiate and close contracts with customers
• Commercial and project management capabilities in the construction space
