Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Software Development to lead the development of our Business Management System. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership abilities, and strategic vision to drive innovation and efficiency in software development. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, manage a team of developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Software Development Leadership: Define and execute the technical vision and strategy for the Business Management System. Lead and mentor a team of software developers, engineers, and QA specialists. Oversee the architecture, design, development, and deployment of the system. Project & Resource Management: Plan and manage software development projects, ensuring timely delivery and high quality. Allocate resources effectively and prioritize development efforts. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, features, and timelines. Technology & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices. Implement cutting-edge solutions to improve system performance, security, and scalability. Ensure coding standards, security protocols, and software best practices are followed. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and UX designers to align software development with business goals. Coordinate with IT, marketing, and operations teams for seamless system integration. Provide technical guidance and support to other departments as needed. Quality Assurance & Security: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes, including automated testing and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure data security, compliance, and risk management policies are implemented. Conduct regular code reviews and system audits to maintain high-quality standards. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript) and frameworks. Development Skills: Strong knowledge of software architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Project Management: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, DevOps practices, and version control systems (Git). Leadership: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage software development teams. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive mindset. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in developing business management or ERP systems. Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and enterprise software integration. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and compliance regulations.
